Who we are

Wagyu Games, LLC is responsible for the processing described in this Policy. Contact us at business@wagyu.io or write to 271 W. Short St, Suite 410, #597, Lexington, KY 40507, United States.

Information you provide

Account registration asks for a username, email address, and password. Account functionality can also involve profile information, such as a display name or avatar, verification status, and details needed to manage your access. We use these details to register and authenticate accounts and provide the account features you request.

When you contact us, we receive your contact details and the information you include in your message, support ticket, screenshot, or other attachment. We use this information to investigate and respond. Do not include passwords, private keys, wallet recovery phrases, or unnecessary sensitive information in support requests.

Wagyu may use account email addresses for marketing. You can unsubscribe using the unsubscribe option at the bottom of marketing emails. Necessary account and service messages are separate from marketing.

Technical and security information

Delivering and protecting online services can involve processing connection and device information, including IP addresses, browser information, request times, and information about errors or suspected misuse. Authentication and account features also use browser storage, described in our Cookie Policy.

Signup, login, and password recovery use hCaptcha to help distinguish legitimate users from automated abuse. hCaptcha may process technical and interaction information needed for verification. More information is available in the hCaptcha Privacy Policy.

Site analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, for site analytics. Google Analytics loads when a page opens. The website sanitizes configured page locations and referrers, and explicit frontend analytics event parameters do not include account personal information. Google's handling of information is governed by its own policies.

Optional wallet features

Core gameplay does not require a wallet or digital asset purchase. Where a supported account feature allows you to connect a wallet, it may process your public wallet address and information needed to establish the connection or verify relevant asset ownership. Connecting a wallet is separate from authorizing a transaction.

Public blockchain records are maintained independently of Wagyu Games and may remain publicly accessible. Deleting a Wagyu account does not remove transactions from a public blockchain. Never provide your private key or recovery phrase to Wagyu Games.

Descriptions of features under development do not mean those features are currently available. Additional information will be provided where a new feature introduces materially different personal information practices.

Purposes and legal grounds

We process information to provide requested account services, respond to support and business inquiries, maintain security, investigate misuse, and meet applicable legal obligations. Where a legal basis is required, providing requested account services relies on the relevant contract; protecting services and handling inquiries relies on legitimate interests where appropriate; legally required processing relies on legal obligations; and activities requiring consent rely on that consent. Our legitimate interests include protecting users, preventing abuse, and keeping the services functioning.

Information required for an account or a particular request is necessary to provide that functionality. You can choose not to provide it, but we may be unable to provide the relevant service. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

Recipients, locations, and external platforms

Information may be handled by service providers supporting account operations, hosting, security, communications, analytics, and support, to the extent needed for their work. hCaptcha supports signup, login, and password-recovery verification. Google Analytics supports site analytics. If you contact us through Discord, Discord separately processes information under its own policies.

Information may be stored and processed in the United States and the United Kingdom.

We may disclose information where required by law, to establish or defend legal rights, address fraud or security threats, or carry out a business reorganization or transfer with applicable protections. An external link does not make the linked service part of Wagyu Games.

We do not sell or share personal information for advertising.

Retention

We retain account information while the account remains open and the information is necessary to provide services. Our target is to delete account information within 30 days of a verified deletion request, except for records that must be retained for legal or financial obligations, security reasons, or active disputes or investigations.

Inactive accounts may be reviewed after 24 months of inactivity. We intend to notify players before a proposed closure. We do not automatically delete accounts that contain purchases, balances, or unresolved claims.

Support emails and tickets are retained for 24 months after the issue is closed. Unnecessary sensitive attachments may be deleted sooner where appropriate. Routine technical and troubleshooting logs are retained for 90 days, and security logs are retained for 12 months. Records concerning a specific incident may be retained longer where necessary for an investigation or legal obligation.

Detailed gameplay telemetry is retained for 90 days. Progression information, including XP, unlocks, achievements, and cumulative statistics, may be retained while the account remains open. When an account is deleted, personal statistics are deleted or genuinely anonymized, subject to applicable legal and security exceptions.

Wallet and account associations are retained only while needed. Our target is to remove those associations within 30 days of unlinking or account deletion. Financial records supporting purchases, payouts, rewards, or tax reporting may follow a proposed seven-year accounting schedule, but the exact scope and start date remain subject to confirmation by Wagyu's accountant. This proposed schedule does not mean that all wallet data is retained for seven years. Public blockchain records cannot be erased through Wagyu account deletion.

Identifiable or pseudonymous analytics information is retained for 12 months and then deleted or genuinely anonymized. Truly anonymous aggregate reporting may be retained longer.

Production backups are retained. Information deleted from live systems should be removed through normal backup rotation within 90 days. If a backup is restored, the relevant deletion should be reapplied.

When longer retention is necessary, we retain only records needed for applicable legal requirements, active disputes, or investigations. The reason and review date should be documented.

Your privacy requests

Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; and opt out of particular uses such as targeted advertising, sale, or sharing where those uses and rights apply.

Send privacy and account closure or deletion requests to business@wagyu.io with the subject Privacy Request. Explain the request and the account or interaction concerned. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity or an authorized representative's authority. Do not send identity documents unless we request them through an appropriate process.

We will respond within the time required by applicable law and explain any applicable exceptions. Where you have an appeal right, you can request review of a denied request by replying with the subject Privacy Appeal. You may also complain to the relevant regulator where that right applies. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

Age and account eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority where you live, whichever is higher, to create a Wagyu account, play Undead Blocks, connect a wallet, receive rewards, or enter tournaments or competitions. If you believe an ineligible person has provided information, contact business@wagyu.io so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Security and changes

We use measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access and misuse, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.

We may update this Policy as services and practices change. The published page will show its revision date, and we will provide additional notice or choices where required. Questions about this Policy can be sent to business@wagyu.io.
