Category 1: Getting Started
No. Undead Blocks is free-to-play, and Digital Assets are optional. You can create an account, download the game, and play standard modes without purchasing a Digital Asset.
No. A connected wallet is not required for core gameplay. Wallet functionality only becomes relevant when interacting with supported blockchain and Digital Asset features.
No. Blockchain provides infrastructure behind supported Digital Assets. Players can enjoy Undead Blocks without understanding the underlying technology.
Core Undead Blocks gameplay remains based around survival, weapon control, map knowledge, and player skill. Digital Assets provide optional utility and reward functionality rather than replacing skill.
Category 2: Weapon loadouts
A Weapon Loadout is a playable Digital Asset containing specific weapons, equipment, and, in some cases, Perks.
Eligible Weapon Loadouts provide access to VIP Solo and determine the weapons, equipment, and Perks available from that Loadout during VIP gameplay.
Undead Blocks has Genesis and Apocalypse Weapon Loadout collections. Genesis contains four Loadout types and Apocalypse contains three.
Expanded Genesis and Apocalypse Weapon Loadout upgrade functionality is in development.
Category 3: ZBUX
ZBUX is the Undead Blocks gameplay reward and progression currency system.
Green ZBUX is primarily designed for Digital Asset progression, including Weapon Loadout upgrades and Loot Coffin utility as those systems become available.
Gold ZBUX is the premium reward tier of ZBUX with a value at $0.10 USD and describes additional premium ecosystem utility.
Eligible VIP Solo gameplay currently provides ZBUX earning opportunities. Other reward paths, including tournaments, quests, and challenges, are planned or returning.
Reward redemption depends on currently supported platform features, eligibility, region, applicable limits, anti-cheat review, and legal restrictions.
Category 4: $UNDEAD
No. $UNDEAD is the ecosystem and governance token. ZBUX is centered on gameplay rewards and progression.
No. $UNDEAD is not required to download or play the core game.
Yes. The $Undead token is available on decentralized trading venues including Uniswap, Blackhole, and KyberSwap.
Category 5: Skins & Collectibles
Weapon Skins are cosmetic Digital Assets used to change the appearance of supported weapons. They do not inherently alter the underlying combat characteristics of the weapon.
Character Skins provide additional ways to customize the appearance and identity of your Survivor.
Loot Coffins are collectible reward containers designed to contain items such as Weapon Skins, Character Skins, Weapon Loadouts, and other game rewards.
Category 6: Marketplace
It is the expanding Digital Asset marketplace and inventory environment for supported Undead Blocks assets.
Weapon Loadout rental functionality is planned but should be identified as Coming Soon or In Development until it launches.
Wagyu Games is developing a migration of the Season One Weapon Skin Collection to Avalanche.
